Our setting

Bossingham Pre-School Ltd is situated just a few miles South of Canterbury, in between the villages of Bossingham and Stelling Minnis. Stelling Minnis is an extensive area of common land in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our quiet, rural location means that the children have many opportunities to explore the countryside, spot wildlife and enjoy the fresh air.

The building and outside space has been specifically designed for pre-school children. We have a large main room which is divided into two units, our Squirrels area (under 2's) and the Owlets & Owls area (2-3, and preschoolers).

Both areas have been resourced with age appropriate equipment and filled with plenty of opportunities for the children to learn, play and develop their social skills. As well as a Quiet Room which is filled with sensory and textured toys for any children that enjoy quiet time. 

The toilets are low level, as are the basins and we have nappy changing facilities. Our new building is accessible for wheel chairs and has disabled toilet facilities.

We are a free flow setting and the children have the choice of playing outside for the majority of the day. We have a large 'all weather surface' play area with outdoor toys, a pirate ship, climbing frame and a natural grass area and mud kitchen.
