Our Staff

We have an experienced and dedicated staff team. All the staff are enthusiastic and committed to the Pre-School and the children. They work hard to develop strong relationships with the children and ensure that their time at Pre-School is enjoyable and enriching.

The staff access a number of Professional Development opportunities throughout the year and keep up to date on areas such as Child Protection, Special Education Needs and Equal Opportunities as well as the Early Years curriculum.

Clare Hart - Manager

Clare started at Bossingham Pre-School in 2000 and has achieved a Level 2 and a Level 3 Diploma in Pre-School Practice.

Clare was once Chairperson on the Pre-School committee before working as a member of staff. Clare has attended courses such as Safeguarding Children, First Aid, Health and Safety in the work place and Special Educational Needs; she is our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.

Kerry Smith - Deputy Manager

Kerry joined Bossingham Pre-School in 2002. She has achieved an NVQ Level 3 in Child Care & Education and in Group Care & Education.

Kerry has worked in various child care settings for 20 years Kerry looks after our Communication, Language and Literacy, Role Play, and Display areas. Kerry has attended courses such as Safeguarding Children, First Aid, Music, Food Safety & Catering, and Wellbeing & Involvement. She is our Child Protection officer.

Amber Lyons

Amber has worked at Bossingham Pre-School since 2006 and has achieved an NVQ Level 2 and NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. Amber also assists with the running of the Breakfast Club at Stelling Minnis School, and runs the school Netball Club.

Amber looks after our Mark Making area and Physical Development.

Amber has attended many courses including Music, Food Safety, Safeguarding Children and First Aid.

Sue Williams

Sue started working at Bossingham Pre-School in 2006. She has achieved NVQ Level 2 and NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. Sue also has a Degree in Science and Maths.

Sue looks after our Maths, Science and ICT (Information & Communication Technology) areas.

Sue has also attended training for ICT in the Early Years, Safeguarding Children, First Aid, and Health and Safety. She is our designated person for Health and Safety.
