We have an experienced and dedicated staff team who are enthusiastic and committed to the pre-school and the children. They work hard to develop strong relationships with the children and families and ensure that their time at pre-school is enjoyable and enriching.
The staff access a number of professional development opportunities throughout the year and keep up to date on areas such as Child Protection, First Aid, Special Education Needs and Inclusion as well as the Early Years curriculum.
Fleur Thorogood - Pre-school manager
Fleur started at Bossingham pre-school in September 2013. Fleur has achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young Peoples Workforce. Fleur has attended a number of courses including, Advanced Special Educational Needs, Portage, The Common Assessment Framework, Autism Awareness, Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid, Speech and Language, Positive Behavior Management and Working in Partnership with Parents.
Clare Hart - Pre-school deputy manager
Clare started at Bossingham pre-school in 2000 and has a Level 3 Diploma in Pre-School Practice. Clare has attended courses such as Safeguarding Children, First Aid, Health and Safety in the work place and Special Educational Needs; she is responsible for the Health and Safety of the setting.
Amber has worked at Bossingham pre-school since 2006 and has achieved an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. Amber has attended many courses including Music, Food Safety, Safeguarding Children, Special Educational Needs and First Aid and is the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.
Sue started working at Bossingham pre-school in 2006. Sue has achieved an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. Sue also has a Degree in Science and Maths.
Sue has attended training for ICT in the Early Years, Safeguarding Children, First Aid, and Health and Safety and is our designated person for Child Protection.
Megan started working at Bossingham pre-school in 2014. Megan has achieved an NVQ level 3 in Children's Care Learning and Education, she has attended course in Makaton, Safeguarding, and First Aid, as well as courses on physical development.
Gemma is the pre-school administrator. She supports the pre-school with general administrative duties.
