Our staff

We have an experienced and dedicated staff team who are enthusiastic and committed to the pre-school and the children. They work hard to develop strong relationships with the children and families and ensure that their time at pre-school is enjoyable and enriching.

The staff access a number of professional development opportunities throughout the year and keep up to date on areas such as Child Protection, First Aid, Special Education Needs and Inclusion as well as the Early Years curriculum.

Teresa Foster - Pre-school manager

Teresa started at Bossingham Pre-school in November 2017 and brings with her extensive experience in Early Years settings having managed at other nurseries and led them through successful OFSTED inspections. Teresa has a Foundation degree in Professional Studies and Early Years education.

Clare Hart - Pre-school deputy manager

Clare started at Bossingham pre-school in 2000 and has a Level 3 Diploma in Pre-School Practice. Clare has attended courses such as Safeguarding Children, First Aid, Health and Safety in the work place and Special Educational Needs; she is responsible for the Health and Safety of the setting.

Amber Lyons

Amber has worked at Bossingham pre-school since 2006 and has achieved an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. Amber has attended many courses including Music, Food Safety, Safeguarding Children, Special Educational Needs and First Aid and is the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.

Sue Williams

Sue started working at Bossingham pre-school in 2006. Sue has achieved an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. Sue also has a Degree in Science and Maths.

Sue has attended training for ICT in the Early Years, Safeguarding Children, First Aid, and Health and Safety and is our designated person for Child Protection.

Rosie Smith

Rosie holds an NNEB and has worked in childcare for a number of years. Rosie joined us on a sessional basis in February 2018.

Rebecca Warman

Becky joined us in February 2018. Becky is hoping to start her NVQ level 3 in childcare in September 2018 in order to become a qualified childcare practitioner.

Gemma Nevard

Gemma is the pre-school administrator. She supports the pre-school with general administrative duties.
