Term 5 - 2021

The children have settled in nicely after the Easter break. We have welcomed some new children and families to our setting and look forward to welcoming Cathryn, our new staff member, on 4th May. The Hungry caterpillar has been a great success, with the children making fruit smoothies and creating their own caterpillars. It has been great having Little Music Stars back to our setting, the children loved singing, dancing and listened really well. Our school leavers cohort enjoyed starting their Forest School sessions, in which they went on a hunt for animals in the woods. What a busy week we have had!!

Term 4 - 2021

This term at Bossingham Preschool, we have welcomed Anita, our new manager . Anita came from Snowflakes Day Nursery, which closed at the end of February.

The children have been busy carrying out lots of activities. They have enjoyed being creative and making sheep, butterflies, trees and flowers for our Spring display. The children have celebrated World book day, making a book mark to take home and planted a flower for Mothers Day. We dressed up bright for Red Nose Day and participated in an egg and spoon race for Easter.

We have made the most of the dry weather are have been doing lots of planting and exploring the outside environment.

Little Music Stars & Forest School

Little Music Stars sessions will be held on Tuesday afternoons. These sessions are chargeable at £3.00 per session and are bookable termly, payment in advance. If you have any questions, please speak to a member of staff.

Forest school sessions are open to children aged 3 and above. These sessions are held on a Thursday morning and are chargeable at £3 per session. The sessions are bookable on a termly basis and payment is to be made in advance. Please speak to a member of staff if you would like further information.

Bag2School - 24th March 2021

Thankyou for your support. We managed to raise a fantastic £225 to go towards preschool funds.

Our next collection is on 29th September 2021. Please fill a bag with your unwanted clothes (not school uniforms or corporate clothing) soft toys, paired shoes, belts and handbags and leave it under the trees on the day. All monies raised will help raise funding for the preschool.

30 hours free childcare

You may be entitled to 30 hours free childcare. The entitlement is for 3 and 4 year olds with both parents working (or the sole parent is working in a lone-parent family), and each earns the equivalent of 16 hours a week at the national minimum or living wage and earns less than £100,000 a year. If you think that your child may be entitled to the 30 hours free childcare, please speak to a member of staff for further information.

Free for 2 (FF2) Scheme

We are now registered with the KCC to accept 2 year olds who are entitled to free childcare on the 'Free for 2' scheme. To find our more and to check if your child is eligible visit to apply for FF2 funding visit
