About Us

Bossingham Pre-School was established in 1985 by a local resident. Until recently, we were located in Bossingham Village Hall. In April 2011 we opened the doors to our fabulous new purpose built premises within the grounds of Stelling Minnis Primary School.
We have a significant catchment area and act as a feeder for several local primary schools. Whilst we have strong links with Stelling Minnis Primary School we do operate totally independently and our children move on to a number of different local schools including Stelling Minnis, Bodsham and Bridge.
We are open to children aged 2 – 5 years and we are part of the Kent Early Years Funding Scheme which provides government funded childcare places for three and four year olds.
We are open during term time from 9am to 3pm and offer flexible sessions including a lunch club.
Breakfast Club is available from 8am. A qualified member of Pre-School staff runs the breakfast club in Stelling Minnis School Hall.
Pre-School children may be dropped off from 8am.
We follow the curriculum guidance set out by The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework. Activities are carefully planned each day to reflect these objectives and give the children opportunities for learning. We encourage learning to be child-initiated and follow individual interests and learning styles.
We are a registered charity and a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance.
We are also OFSTED registered. We have a very active management committee made up of volunteer parents and friends of the pre-school.
