Our setting

Bossingham Pre-School Ltd is situated just a few miles South of Canterbury, in between the villages of Bossingham and Stelling Minnis. Stelling Minnis is an extensive area of common land in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our quiet, rural location means that the children have many opportunities to explore the countryside, spot wildlife and enjoy the fresh air.

The new building and outside space has been specifically designed for pre-school children. We have a large main hall which is divided into well resourced areas including a Role Play area, Nature Table, ICT area, Mark Making area and Creative area. Our Quiet Room has colourful, child-sized sofas and beanbags and is the perfect retreat for a quiet story or a nap. The toilets are low level, as are the basins and we have nappy changing facilities. Our new building is accessible for wheel chairs and has disabled toilet facilities.

A covered decking area creates our 'extended classroom' and children have the choice of playing outside for the majority of the day. We also have a large 'all weather surface' play area with outdoor toys, a pirate ship, climbing frame and gazebo and a natural grass area with sand pit, mud area, meadow area, water wall and music centre.
